A Simple Addition to Our Baby Routine: Colief MultiBio Drops

A Simple Addition to Our Baby Routine: Colief MultiBio Drops

AD – This post was created as part of a collaboration with Colief. I received the product and compensation in exchange for sharing my honest experience.

Life with a baby or toddler can feel like a constant cycle of meals, snacks, naps, activities and trying to remember everything in between.

That’s why I appreciate products that can fit into something we are already doing, rather than adding another complicated task to our day.

We recently introduced Colief MultiBio Drops into Charlie’s feeding routine. As they are used once a day and can be added to foods such as yoghurt, they have been simple to include alongside one of his usual meals.

Why baby gut health matters

A baby’s first 1,000 days are an important period of growth and development.

During this time, their digestive system and natural gut flora are still developing. Colief’s “Good health starts in the gut” campaign focuses on discussing baby gut health in an accessible, everyday way.

I think it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by all the information available to parents, so I appreciate being able to keep things simple and concentrate on products that can fit realistically into family life.

What are Colief MultiBio Drops?

Colief MultiBio Drops contain:

  • Two friendly bacteria strains
  • Added Vitamin D
  • A formula developed to complement a baby’s natural gut flora

Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

The drops are designed to be given once a day and can be used directly or added to breast milk, infant formula, milk or yoghurt. Always follow the dosage and instructions provided on the packaging.

How we added them to Charlie’s routine

For Charlie, I chose to add the drops to a small bowl of yoghurt.

This worked well for us because yoghurt is already familiar to him and regularly forms part of his meals or snacks. I simply prepared his yoghurt, added the recommended amount according to the packaging and mixed it thoroughly before feeding him as usual.

There was no need to create a separate routine or persuade him to try something completely unfamiliar.

It became one small step within a mealtime we were already having.

Why simple routines work for us

As a busy mum, I know that even seemingly small extra tasks can become difficult to remember.

Our days include Charlie’s meals and activities, Amelia’s school preparations, household jobs, my work and appointments, so simple is always preferable.

The fact that Colief MultiBio Drops are used once a day makes them easier to incorporate into our routine. I can add them during breakfast, lunch or snack time, depending on how our day is going.

I also like that there are several ways to give them, so parents can choose the method that works most naturally for their own baby.

Keeping feeding routines realistic

Every baby and family is different, and there is rarely one perfect routine that works for everyone.

Some babies may take the drops directly, while others may have them mixed into milk, formula or yoghurt. The most useful option is often the one that fits most easily into what your child already eats or drinks.

For us, using yoghurt meant that Charlie could continue enjoying his normal mealtime while I added the drops without creating any additional fuss.

Our experience so far

Colief MultiBio Drops have been straightforward to include in our day.

I particularly appreciate that they do not require a complicated preparation process and can be added to a familiar food. As with any baby product, I follow the instructions on the packaging carefully and use the recommended daily amount.

They have become a simple addition to Charlie’s feeding routine while his little tummy continues to develop as he grows.
