Family Travel Essentials I Never Travel Without With Kids

Travelling with kids can be magical… but let’s be honest, it can also be chaotic 😅

Over the years, I’ve learned that being even slightly organised makes a huge difference when travelling as a family.

These are the travel essentials I genuinely wouldn’t want to be without when travelling with children.

1. Packing Cubes (My Absolute Favourite)

If I could recommend just one travel product for families, it would be packing cubes.

I genuinely love them.

They make packing so much easier, help keep everyone’s clothes organised, and stop you digging through an entire suitcase looking for one pair of socks.

I usually separate by child or by category (day outfits, pyjamas, swimwear etc.).

2. Kids Headphones

If you’re travelling with tablets or in-flight entertainment, decent kids headphones are a lifesaver.

They help keep little ones entertained without everyone else listening too.

Not every family uses screens, but for long travel days? Absolutely no judgement here 😅

Perfect for flights, long car journeys, or hotel downtime.

3. Kids Tablet / Amazon Fire

A kids tablet can make flights, airport waits, and delays so much less stressful.

Download films, games, or educational apps beforehand.

4. Portable Charger

Because someone’s device is always about to die.

Portable chargers are one of those boring but essential travel items.

Especially when using phones for boarding passes, maps, entertainment, and photos.
